The Demolition Begins!

Tearing out the aluminum walls to discover the old mildew ridden insulation. Im really going to sink my teeth into this one!
Coming along.
The trailer has aluminum wall throughout except for in the front and rear bays. These are the old molded fiberglass wall/ shelving/ ceiling units. HAD TO GO!
old walls on the way to the metal recycler!
Frightening isn't it?! On this very sore subject i feel i must include that i am activly looking for an electrician to help when we decide our direction!
Ahhhhh. She really does clean up nice.

Arriving On Site

Arriving on James Island at my good friend Chris Beebe's house. Chris is Owner and Operator of "Splinters" Woodworks and is going to be a key asset to this project!

On location at the Beebe home and ready to start the work! She's all leveled out and ready for phase 1: DECONSTRUCTION!

A Big Ol' Slice of America!

Now this rig took up 51ft. of the interstate all the way back to Charleston SC. The use of this amazing tow vehicle was donated to the cause via the VERY generous and all around good guy Chris Winn! it wouldn't have been possible without you bud!

This photo was taken about 5 seconds before i realized that the plastic cover for the roof-top AC unit had flown off somewhere between Atlanta GA and Summerville SC......apologies to anyone who was harmed in the making of this dream!

First Look

The first look at our soon-to-be new home! Days like this one are not exactly ideal for getting a trailer ready for a 7 hour journey home. (37 degrees and frozen rain!) The start of what I'm sure will be a very involved project.
